Given an introduction to the idea of fractal, I immediately sink into the topic. I am certainly amazed at the ability of mathematics to represent a real object. I start to foresee the world around me as the self-similar system, where self-similar molecules create objects, and the self-similar object forms the cycle of life that keeps repeating.
"The charm of history and its enigmatic lesson consist in the fact that, from age to age, nothing changes and yet everything is completely different." (Aldous Huxley). Although life remains in a circle, the beauty of fractal is that, with simply repeating a different model, it looks exactly the same, yet completely different.
